WHAT DOES THE DESIGN ENVIRONMENT LOOK LIKE?

A student studying design at the University of New South Wales experiences a variety of learning environments. Within the university the various forms of design practice are catered for by the faculties. Studio spaces, workshops, experimental spaces and specialist areas exist alongside traditional lecture halls, tutorial rooms and break-out spaces. The design environment is not limited to within the geography of this large university. Many programs create opportunities for internships in the profession/industry and field trips to a broad range of locations operated by the university’s strategic professional/industry partners.
